We also ran a nest box decorating activity for the Saturday Zone kids at Parkside Aldershot today, the first of four activities we have planned for the next few months.

24 children enjoyed an Easter scavenger hunt around site this morning, and 12 families enjoyed a free river dipping session this afternoon. Well done Katie for organising, and Debbie for the face painting.
Roger and Anya conducted a bird ringing session under the powerlines this morning.

Thanks to the 15 volunteers who turned out for our work party this morning, including a team of 10 from the wonderful Surrey Choices Growth Team. We used wood that had been cleared from the river over winter to build a dead hedge overlooking the reed beds.
